Flying into Newark Airport is by far the quickest and easiest way to reach Maplewood – it is only 15min. by car to the house. A car service can be prearranged to meet you upon your arrival, or you can just go to the taxi stand (the NYC Yellow Taxis) and give them the address. Car Hire is also available at the Airport.
By Bus: the journey will take about 45 minutes. You will need to change at Newark Penn Station bus Lanes and then take the bus to Maplewood (there is a stop a 2min. walk from the house).
By Train: Take the “AirTrain” to the NJTransit Railway Station and take the train to Secaucus, change to the Mid-Town Direct train towards Dover and get out at the Maplewood Station. This will take about an hour.
From JFK Airport in Queens, New York, the journey will take about an hour by car (more during rush hour traffic). You can prearrange for a car service to drive you to the house, hire a car at the airport, or take public transportation from JFK into New York Penn Station and transfer to a NJTransit Train or Bus to Maplewood.

From the Maplewood Train Station
The walk to the house takes about 15 minutes. A local taxi service can be arranged in advance to pick you up at your arrival. There is also a town shuttle bus that will drop you off in front of the house (The fare is $1 paid to the driver when you board.) The “Jitney” shuttle bus (There are a few different buses, the house is on the “Hilton” Route) operates to coordinate with commuter trains from (and to) New York and Hoboken, NJ (connects in Hoboken with the PATH subway trains and Ferry).
Departure Times from the station to the house by shuttle bus are: 5:34, 6:03, 6:38, 7:00, 7:24 & 7:53pm. The journey takes 4-5 minutes.
